The Brambles
The Brambles is situated at the far end of the nursery grounds. Set over two floors, it utilises the whole footprint of the building, with plenty of spaces for exploring, small group activities and messy play! The Orchard is just behind the Brambles' garden, as is the Tennis court, the donkey field and Little Forest school.

Outdoor areas
The Brambles has a huge garden. Leading out from the conservatory there is a covered paved area for all weathers; the children have their meals here on warmer days. Continuing up a few steps is a large lawn area, specially adapted with different zones, such as a covered digging patch/ mud kitchen, a low level climbing frame/ slide, a water wall and a recycled object music station!

Different spaces
The Brambles have lots of different spaces carefully considered for the activities offered.
The downstairs front room is ideal for small group activities, such as social communication groups, Beat Baby and circle time. This space is also used for the children who require an afternoon sleep.
The conservatory is used for messy play activities and meal times, complete with a low level sink.

Nappies and toilet training
The Brambles caters for children at all stages of their toilet training journey. There is a changing station, where each child has a personalised basket to store their own nappies, wipes and creams. This area has space to store packs of nappies that Parents provide. Next to the changing area there is a separate toilet area, with two child-size toilets, a range of potties and a low level sink for handwashing.
