The Willows
The Willows caters for children from 14 months to 2 years. The space is set over two floors, with a large outdoor space divided into two areas. The children have the opportunity to attend our onsite Forest school during the week, alongside children from the Brambles and the Baby Cabin.

Outside spaces
The Willows has an all-weather outdoor area; the children are able to access this freely throughout the day. On the next level there is a large lawn, with a living willow dome, covered sandpit, digging patch and water wall. There is a wild flower area to encourage birds and insects for the children to observe. At the very end of the garden is the vegetable patch, and beyond this the orchard, tennis court, donkey field and onsite Forest school area.

Developing confidence
The indoor and outdoor environments of the Willows have been carefully planned to encourage confidence and independence in an age appropriate way, for example allowing the the children to access more materials themselves, help with tasks and begin to manage self-care routines.
Our experienced staff help children become confident and independent, by encouraging, modelling and supporting positive interactions.

Moving to the Willows
The move to the Willows from the Baby Cabin is carefully prepared and supported. Children visit their new room and get to know the new members of staff.
